 · Alright I just bought a 93 Civic that has a manual rack in it. I also have a K swapped DC with a power steering rack that I looped the lines on. Would there be any benefit to swapping out the racks for one another? Will I be able to swap racks without any hassles, will it be a straight bolt.  · 9 Posts. What I am looking for is a manual rack (lighter weight and less drag on the engine) that is quicker ratio then the OEM power or manual racks. The del sol si has the same steering joint part # as the civic cx with manual steering If someone wants to verify that with me Also, it seems the u-joint changed in 96, because 95 and below seems to be the same joint, but the 96 and 97 del sols have the "power steering" coupler u-joint.
